Great American Music Hall Rules
To ensure the safety of all patrons and guests, Great American Music Hall has created the following code of conduct and policy guidelines. Please review and follow the rules and policies below as failure to abide by them may result in expulsion from the venue without refund.

Accessibility Policy
Great American Music Hall wants to make sure that everyone visiting the venue can have a great time. If you require any special accommodations or have specific accessibility needs, please call 415-885-0750 at least two days before your ticketed event, for assistance.
All-ages Facility Policy
GAMH welcomes all patrons ages 6 and up. If a specific show is age-restricted it will be described as such in the program guide or event description.
Arrival Policy
For most events, it is recommended that guests arrive no later than 30 minutes before an event’s start time. For some concerts and special events, late arrivals may be asked to wait before entry for an appropriate break period.
Bag Policy
Bags are welcome but are subject to search by event staff.
Camera Policy
Flash photography, video or audio recording devices, and professional cameras with detachable lenses are strictly prohibited for all performances. Standard or nonprofessional cameras are only allowed if both the venue and artist provides public authorization and will be noted in the program guide or description.
Cancellation Policy
Usually, events and shows are never canceled since the show must go on. But if a show is canceled or postponed due to weather or artist cancellation you can request a refund or reschedule of your ticket at 415-885-0750.
Dress Code Policy
Clothing is required but the style is up to you.
Lost and Found Policy
Lost an item at an event? You can ask event staff for help with finding the lost and found service. You can also call 415-885-0750 after the performance. Please be prepared to leave your full name, contact information, and a detailed description of your lost item.
Great American Music Hall does not claim responsibility for your lost possessions.
Prohibited Items
To keep guests and staff safe, Great American Music Hall prohibits the following items from the venue.
- Chains and spiked jewelry
- Weapons
- Pocket Knives
- Laser Pointers
- Illegal Substances
- Animals (service animals are allowed)
- Beach balls and inflatables
- Bullhorns and air horns
- Fireworks
- Signs with sticks
- Posterboard signs
- Confetti and Silly String
- Tobacco products and electronic cigarettes
- Laptops/iPads
- Pepper Spray/Mace
Individual events may have additional prohibited items. Please refer to the specific event for a complete list.
Refund Policy
Unless a show is postponed or canceled, all sales are final. If a show is postponed or canceled, please call the box office at 415-885-0750 to ask about a refund or reschedule.
Smoking Policy
Smoking of cigarettes, pipes, vapes, or any other smoking paraphernalia is not allowed in the venue or within 300 feet of any entrance. You may ask the event staff if there is a designated smoking space available.
